You know spring is close when ...

Red Tailed hawks, looking for food, are commonly seen
circling in the sky.

It's pretty amazing ... and, another sign of spring!

Three impressive shots of the beautiful hawk. I don't know why I never see red tail hawks here but only coopers and sharp shinned.

Would flying like a bird be fantastic!! Don't think I'd like the part about ripping a carcass apart for dinner, though!
I have a Canon EOS 400D that I use for my photos. For these shots I used my 75-300 f/4-5.6 lens. The camera setting was 1/400 sec at F 7.1.
I'm pretty happy with the results ... usually. Everyday I use it I learn something new!
